Kathmandu, November 4
CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has briefly commented on the government’s decision to remove Dan Bahadur Karki from the post of IGP and appoint Dr Manoj KC in his place.
Responding to journalists’ questions at the party office on Wednesday, Oli said, “Perhaps he was appointed because they thought he would do as they instructed.”
The Cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to remove Karki from the post and appoint him as a special adviser. Manoj KC was subsequently appointed as the new IGP.
