Prime Minister Balen Shah has warned that no one should expect to escape accountability when the time comes.
Shah made the remark in a Facebook post without referring to any specific incident or individual.
“Once the right time comes, everyone’s bad time will come. No one should dream that one or two people will escape,” he wrote.
The prime minister made the comment amid criticism of the government over reports of judges’ contacts with intermediaries and the deployment of police personnel at media houses.
Kumar Ben, the prime minister’s chief political adviser, also commented on Shah’s post, asking when the “right time” would come.
On Sunday afternoon, Ben had tagged 28 journalists in a separate social media post and questioned whether those not included in the list could also be called journalists.
