Kathmandu, October 11
The Prithvi Highway, which was blocked after a section of the road subsided at Galaundi in Dhading, has been reopened to traffic.
The road subsided after erosion by the Trishuli River along the highway at Galaundi.
Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal said traffic resumed after a 160-metre section of the road was cut into the hillside at the damaged site.
With the road reopening, traffic along the Prithvi Highway has resumed fully.
Minister Lamsal urged travellers to exercise extra caution while travelling at night.
