Floodwaters in the Roshi River have washed away temporary diversions at two locations along the BP Highway.
According to DSP Rabin Bista of the Kavre District Police Office, the diversions at Chowkidanda in Namobuddha-6 and Ghumawane in Roshi-7 were swept away by the flooding.
The diversions had been constructed at the sites after previous floods washed away sections of the highway, allowing vehicles to resume operations.
Landslides have also occurred at Chowkidanda in Namobuddha-6, Charsaybesi in Roshi-7, Gimbebesi in Roshi-8 and Mamti in Roshi-11 along the BP Highway.
