Kathmandu, September 18
Prime Minister Balen Shah has held discussions with lawmakers from the Gen Z age group, urging them to lead by example and create employment opportunities in Nepal for their generation through innovative thinking.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Shah urged the lawmakers to go beyond addressing basic livelihood problems and take the lead in making their generation self-reliant.
For this, he suggested conducting field-based studies and research, making maximum use of information technology, adopting a problem-solving approach and abandoning outdated and impractical thinking.
He also urged them not to make politics a profession but to establish an independent source of income and become self-reliant and a source of inspiration in the long term.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the lawmakers who participated in the interaction took Shah’s suggestions as parental guidance and expressed their commitment to working to make their generation self-reliant and create opportunities within the country.
