Kathmandu, September 17
The government has announced the winners of the Taxpayer Incentive Gift Programme for the month of Bhadra.
The Inland Revenue Department announced two bumper prize winners, who will each receive Rs 1 million, along with 31 other winners, who will each receive Rs 100,000.
The department normally announces the winners every 15 days, but the Bhadra winners were announced together for the month due to the floods.
According to the department, a customer who purchased goods worth Rs 200 from Katyani Polyclinic won the Rs 1 million bumper prize. Another customer who purchased goods worth Rs 7,000 from Sunita Fancy Store also won Rs 1 million.
The remaining 31 winners will each receive Rs 100,000 under the daily prize category.
