Kathmandu, September 4
Two people trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli-3 ‘A’ hydropower project, following the devastating flood that struck Bhotekoshi in Rasuwa on August 26, have been rescued alive.
Sanjay Sah, a mechanical foreman with the Electricity Authority, and Kabir Maharjan, a supervisor, were rescued alive from the tunnel this morning.
Amid concerns that more people remain trapped inside the Trishuli-3 ‘A’ hydropower project’s tunnel, rescue operations have been intensified, with a joint team of the Nepal Army and Armed Police actively engaged in the search and rescue.
