Forensic experts have arrived from India to conduct DNA testing on unidentified victims of the Rasuwa flood. Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai announced that a team of 18 forensic experts has arrived.
Rai said airtight body bags for managing the deceased have been received, with further supplies on the way. Bodies continue to be recovered from the devastating flood that struck the Bhotekoshi River on August 26.
