Kathmandu, August 30
The bodies of 752 people reported missing in the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River have been recovered, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
According to a bulletin issued by the authority at 1 pm on Sunday, the recovered bodies were found across eight districts affected by the floods.
Of the 752 bodies recovered, 13 were found in Rasuwa, 52 in Nuwakot, 50 in Dhading, 58 in Gorkha, 184 in Nawalparasi East, 100 in Nawalparasi West, 36 in Tanahun and 259 in Chitwan.
The authority said 8,730 people have so far been rescued from the flood-affected areas.
However, 2,502 people remain unaccounted for, according to the latest bulletin.
