Kathmandu, August 30
The bodies of 734 people who went missing in the devastating flood in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River on August 26 have been recovered, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
According to a bulletin issued by the authority at 9 am today, the bodies were recovered from several districts affected by the flood.
The bodies were recovered from Rasuwa (13), Nuwakot (52), Dhading (50), Gorkha (58), Nawalparasi East (184), Nawalparasi West (82), Tanahun (36) and Chitwan (259).
The authority said 8,186 people have been rescued so far.
