Gorkha, August 28
Explosive material found on the bank of the Trishuli River in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3, Silingtar, Gorkha, has been safely disposed of.
A team deployed from the Nepali Army’s Rudradhwaj Battalion carried out the disposal.
The explosive material was found on the riverbank around 2:30 pm on Thursday. An earlier disposal attempt the previous day had been unsuccessful.
Birodh Rijal, a company officer with the Rudradhwaj Battalion, said the explosive material may have been swept in by the flood that came down from Rasuwa.
