Kathmandu, August 28
The prime minister and ministers will contribute one month’s salary and remuneration to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmita Pokharel said the decision was made at a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday.
According to the Cabinet decision, one month’s salary and remuneration of the Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers will be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund in response to the disaster along the Nepal-China border and the Bhotekoshi River on August 26.
