Kathmandu, August 20
The Nepali Congress Central Disciplinary Committee has called a meeting for Friday.
Committee Secretary Dinesh Thapa Magar confirmed that the meeting will begin at 11 am at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.
The committee has not disclosed the agenda for the meeting.
The meeting comes amid heightened internal tensions within the Nepali Congress, with rival factions engaged in parallel activities ahead of the party’s 15th General Convention. The party has scheduled the convention for October 2–5 in Kathmandu.
The Central Disciplinary Committee has previously dealt with complaints and disciplinary matters involving senior party leaders.
