House meeting to take up questions, bills and reports today

The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet on Tuesday with oral questions related to four ministries on its agenda.

The meeting will begin at 1:10 pm at SinghaDurbar, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister, and Agriculture, Forests and Environment Minister will respond to oral questions concerning their respective ministries.

The meeting will also see Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam present the seventh annual report of the Tharu Commission, on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah.

Foreign Minister Khanal is scheduled to table a proposal seeking consideration of the Passport (First Amendment) Bill.

Similarly, Minister Gautam will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Mediation-related (Second Amendment) Bill.
Gautam will also present the Agreement on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction, under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
