Kathmandu, August 17
The Supreme Court has ordered the release of journalist Kishor Shrestha and directed authorities to continue the investigation without keeping him in custody.
The order was issued while hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by Shrestha’s wife, Saraswati Shrestha, seeking his release from detention.
A bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Balkrishna Dhakal issued the order on Monday.
