New Ministers to be sworn in today

Kathmandu, April 10

Gauri Kumari Yadav and Ramji Yadav, who are set to join the Cabinet on Friday, will be sworn in later today.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) is expanding the Council of Ministers. He has recommended to President Ramchandra Paudel the appointment of Ramji Yadav as Minister for Labour and Gauri Kumari Yadav as Minister for Industry.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, their oath-taking ceremony will also take place today. However, the Office of the President has stated that the exact time for the ceremony has yet to be fixed.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shah had dismissed Deepak Kumar Sah, who was serving as Minister for Labour. The Industry Ministry had been under the Prime Minister’s direct charge.

Ramji Yadav is a Member of Parliament elected from Saptari Constituency-2, while Gauri Kumari Yadav represents Mahottari Constituency-4.
