Gandaki, March 23
The Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) in Pokhara and the Gandaki Province Office of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) have started a promotional event in the eastern cities of the country to receive more domestic tourists.
A promotional event called “Jau Hai Pokhara” is being initiated in the cities of eastern Nepal and will continue until March 27, HAN Pokhara’s Chairman Laxman Subedi said. According to Subedi, the event would be held in Birgunj, Hetauda, Biratnagar, Ilam and other cities to invite the people there to visit Pokhara. Subedi shared that partnership with tourism entrepreneurs, interactions and publicity programmes, among others, will be conducted to promote Pokhara and the tourism products of the tourism fraternity.
Likewise, attractive tourism packages for the domestic tourists will also be announced during the promotional journey, he added. The HAN Pokhara is also organising the 21st edition of the Fewa Mahotsav on the eve of the Nepali New Year. Chief of NTB Gandaki Province Office Mani Raj Lamichhane said that the events being organised in partnership with the HAN have promoted tourism activities in the cities.
