Gagan Thapa, president of the Nepali Congress, has congratulated Dr Amresh Kumar Singh of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
After being defeated in the election from Sarlahi-4, Thapa extended his best wishes to the victorious Singh.
“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dr Amresh Singh on being elected from Sarlahi Constituency-4,” Thapa wrote on his Facebook page.
He also expressed gratitude to all voters who supported him.
“I sincerely thank all the voters of this constituency who gave me their love, trust, and votes,” he said.
Thapa further stated that he will continue efforts from his side to address the issues he has observed in Sarlahi-4.
“I will continuously work within my capacity and initiative to address the problems I have seen in this area,” he wrote.
