Kathmandu, January 20
Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, has filed his nomination.
Shah registered his candidacy at the Office of the Election Officer in Damak Municipality–8.
Accompanied by supporters and traditional musical bands, Balen reached the election office amid enthusiastic celebrations.
He has entered electoral politics after resigning from the post of Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
