Kathmandu, October 31
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has requested its residents not to take out garbage from their homes.
The city issued a notice after waste disposal at the Bancharedanda landfill site was obstructed.
“Until further notice, please keep household waste safely within your house or compound and refrain from throwing it carelessly on roads or public places,” the notice issued by the Environment and Management Department of the metropolis states.
