Nepali entrepreneur’s company Fusemachines listed on the US stock exchange

Kathmandu, October 24

Nepali entrepreneurs’ AI company, Fusemachines, has been listed on the US stock exchange.

Fusemachines, an artificial intelligence (AI) company founded by Nepali-origin entrepreneur Sameer Maskey, has been officially listed and begun trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange in the United States.

The trading of common shares of Fusemachines, a global leader in enterprise AI solutions, began on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol “FUSE” from Thursday. With this achievement, Fusemachines has become the first company of Nepali origin to be listed on NASDAQ.

The company has described this milestone as the beginning of a new chapter in its mission to “democratize AI for everyone.” It believes that this public listing will help it address the growing global demand for AI solutions.

Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Fusemachines’ founder and CEO Sameer Maskey said, “Starting as a small, mission-driven team and becoming a NASDAQ-listed company reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation and execution. This listing marks the beginning of our next chapter, focused on disciplined growth, strategic investments, and sustainable value creation for our shareholders.”

Founded in 2013, Fusemachines has established offices in North America, Asia (including Nepal and the Dominican Republic), and Latin America, serving clients across healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, and government sectors.

As part of the listing process, the company received investment through a merger agreement. Fusemachines stated that the funds raised will be used to strengthen its balance sheet, drive product innovation, expand its customer base, and make strategic investments in sales and marketing.
