Indian worker dies in Kathmandu after being crushed by an LPG tanker

Kathmandu, January 27

An Indian worker died in an accident within the Balaju industrial district in Kathmandu on Thursday.

The victim has been identified as Dilip Rajbanshi (approximately 45), who used to drive an LPG tanker between Nepal and India. He was crushed by another similar vehicle when he was cleaning his vehicle inside the industrial zone this morning, according to police.

Seriously injured in the accident, he died during treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Police have arrested the driver of the tanker that crushed him for further investigation.
