Damak, December 29
Three people were killed when a motorcycle they were travelling on crashed along an inner road of Bhangbari of Damak municipality-2 in the Jhapa district of eastern Nepal on Tuesday night.
According to the Damak Area Police Office, the three died on the spot as the motorcycle (Provine 1-02-043 Pa 6926) smashed a tree after the rider lost control over the vehicle.
The deceased have been identified as the motorcycle rider Anil BK (23) from Chisapani-4 in Khotang, and pillion riders Kishan Senchuri (19) from Rapti-4 in Chitwan and Anil Lamgade (19) from Bhuikhola in Taplejung.
They died on the spot.
They were the artisans at a goldsmith’s in Damak.
According to DSP Nawa Raj Karki, further investigation into the case is underway.
