Most of the tourists visiting Nepal receive on-arrival visas at the country’s sole international airport in Kathmandu. The facility is available at eight other entry points also. The citizens from 12 countries affected by civil wars and other terrorist activities had been barred from this facility.
Ishwar Raj Paudel, the chief at the Department of Immigration, says the citizens of the additional five countries now need to obtain a visa from the Nepali missions in the concerned countries if they wish to visit Nepal.
