Kathmandu, March 5
Sandeep Lamichhane has been declared Nepal’s best male cricketer by the jury members of the Cricket Player’s Association Nepal Awards hosted in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Similarly, for her outstanding year, Sita Rana Magar was declared the best female cricketer.
Karan KC’s memorable and crucial innings against Canada in Namibia was voted the most memorable moment of the year. The young player of the year was awarded to Rohit Paudel who recently against UAE created history by becoming the youngest to score a half-century in an ODI match.
Komal Pandey, for his years of dedication in the field of cricket, was honoured with the lifetime achievement award.
