Kathmandu, November 23
Enterprise-Business Acceleration Program, the flagship accelerator program of One to Watch (OTW), kicked off its 2018-19 cohort of the business accelerator program, with ten local ventures.
The ten innovative entrepreneurs were selected from a pool of more than 250 applicants, who had applied to the program between 22 June and 31 August 2018.
The companies will participate in an intensive 12-week program, which is aimed to help them move to the next level of their business growth. At the end of the program, the companies will present their companies to investors in Kathmandu and London, during two demo days.
The ten companies selected for acceleration are: AeroRoots, Burger Shack, Green Road Waste Management, Hajuri Khadya Udhyog, Helmets Nepal, LeafPlus, No Chini, Onion Flims, Seedland Nepal and The Mint Studio.
“By empowering innovative entrepreneurs who understand the needs of the community they live in and are actively working to find solutions, we will create a significant impact in Nepal. We believe that these companies selected for the Enterprise Accelerator Program 2018-19, have the potential to create such an impact with the products and services they offer,” says Amod Rajbhandari, Director of Accelerator and Entrepreneurship Development.
