Kathmandu, November 13
China’s Minister of Culture Luo Shugang has arrived in Kathmandu on an official trip to Nepal on Tuesday.
The Minister is visiting Nepal to discuss extending cultural ties between the two neighbours, according to sources.
Meanwhile, the guest paid a visit to his Nepali counterpart Rabindra Adhikari at the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation today. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong, was also present on the occasion.
Adhikari told journalists after the meeting that the duo discussed promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries so as to best meet their mutual interests.
He also hoped that the meeting would promote Nepal’s tourism potential to a new height.
