Kathmandu, October 28
Province 2 government has formed a committee to reccomend the name and capital of the state as per the new constitution.
A meeting of the province’s Cabinet assigned a three-member committee led by Dr Hari Bans Jha to recommend on the issue, law minister Gyanendra Kumar Yadav informed. The other two members in the committee are: Ram Prawesh Baitha and Mohan Lal Chaudhary.
The committee has been given 45 days to consult various stakeholders and present its report. The committee will begin its work in a few days.
