Hetaunda, February 1
The senior-most Provincial Assembly in Province 3, CPN-UML’s Dor Mani Poudel, has called a meeting of all parties represented in the Assembly as he prepares to convene the first meeting of the first session this afternoon.
Province Chief Anuradha Koirala has called the session to begin at 1 pm today.
Total eight parties are represented in the 110-member Assembly. They include CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Centre, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Naya Shakti Party, Bibeksheel Sajha Party, RPP and RPP-Democratic.
A representative of each party will address the first meeting today.
Meanwhile, lawmakers of individual parties are also holding internal meetings and discussions. The CPN-Maoist Centre has assigned lawmaker Salik Ram Jamakattel to lead the lawmakers till the election of parliamentary party leader.
