
Kathmandu, August 18
The government on Friday decided to provide Rs 70 a day to each victim of recent floods and landslides in various parts of the country.
Home Minister Janardan Sharma says the decision means to address their demand for food.
According to Sharma, the government will direct the National Food Corporation to open food shops nearby their settlements if there are not any currently.
The decision was made public organising a press conference today.
