Rajbiraj, January 8
Chandra Shekhar Thakur (17) of Chanaura Padariya, Rajbiraj, was injured when an unidentified person fired at him on Friday afternoon. Thakur was heading home at the time of the incident. He has sustained bullet wounds on his left arm. He is receiving treatment at Rajbiraj-based Sagarmatha zonal hospital, inspector Suraj Khadka informed. A search for the shooter is on, Khadka said. Four days ago, an unidentified group had shot and killed Ramesh Subba, in-charge of Jhutki police post, Saptari.
