Aman Gupta to visit Nepal for promotion of Shark Tank Nepal

Kathmandu, June 29

Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt and one of the Sharks on Shark Tank India, is set to arrive in Nepal to take part in the promotional campaign of Shark Tank Nepal, which is scheduled to premiere on Himalaya Television from July 2.

Gupta will land in Kathmandu on Tuesday and will attend the grand premiere and networking event of Shark Tank Nepal as the chief guest. The event will also mark the screening of the show’s first episode. According to Himalaya Television’s Executive Director Shyam Kandel, Gupta will share his experiences as a Shark and interact with the Nepali Sharks during the occasion.

Selected Nepali entrepreneurs and business leaders will also have the opportunity to meet and engage in discussions with Gupta.

The Nepali edition of the globally acclaimed business reality show Shark Tank, which airs in over 56 countries, will broadcast its first season every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM on Himalaya Television, starting from July 2. The show is produced and aired by Himalaya Television.

The panel of Sharks for the debut season includes Hem Raj Dhakal, co-founder of the IME Group; Cabinet Shrestha, Managing Director of Agni Group; Saurabh Jyoti, Chairperson of the Jyoti Group; Ritu Singh Vaidya, Managing Director of Vaidya’s Organization; and Anand Bagaria, Managing Director of Nimbus.

Out of over 1,500 aspiring entrepreneurs who applied to pitch their ideas, 110 companies were selected through a two-stage screening process to present their business ideas to the Sharks.
