Six people have been arrested with stolen jewellery.
Those arrested include Binod Shakya, who allegedly purchased stolen jewellery; Subin Ghimire, 22, of Sunsari; Suraj BK, 26, of Makwanpur; Sanjay Tamang, 26, of Kavre; Rabin Marjahan, 36, of Kathmandu, who are accused of stealing; and Rabi Maharjan, 35, of Kathmandu, who allegedly sold the stolen jewellery.
They are accused of stealing jewellery from the rented room of a person living in Banasthali at around 7:30 am on Shrawan 14. They were arrested by the Balaju Police Circle. A three-day remand has been obtained for further investigation. The stolen jewellery has also been recovered from them.
