Almost 300 Nepalis in Barcelona, Spain have benefited from consular services including the passport-making process at the consular camp. Nepalis living in Catalonia benefited from the two-day consular camp conducted by the Madrid Embassy in collaboration with NRNA Spain.

The application process for electronic biometric passports of 262 people has been completed in the camp held at the NRNA Spain office on February 10 and 11.

First-time passport processing for 11 children and another 15 received other consular services.
They expressed their happiness that the embassy and NRN together facilitated the Nepali who were facing problems due to passports.

“Almost 300 people have taken consular services. They had to travel 600 kilometres to Madrid for the same purpose, which saved them their time and around 30,000 euros,” NRN Spain President Peshal Kumar Koirala said.
