Biratnagar, February 21
Two persons have died when a truck hit two scooter-borne persons in Urlabari municipality-4 of Morang district in eastern Nepal, on Saturday evening.
The victims have been identified as Pradeep Dhami, 23, and Sudeep Bhujel, 22, Sisauli, Urlabari municipality-8, according to police. Dhami was riding the two-wheeler (Ko 31 Pa 51) whereas Bhujel was riding pillion.
Both had sustained critical injuries when a truck (Province 1, 01-001 Ka 1035) hit them at around 7:30 pm yesterday. They breathed their last while undergoing treatment at the Araniko Hospital nearby.
Police have confiscated the truck and arrested its driver for further investigation.
