Kailali, November 30
One teenage boy has died when a bus he was travelling on fell off the road in Achham district of far-western Nepal on Monday morning.
The vehicle (Na 4 Kha 9972) heading to Dhangadhi of Kailali fell off around 60 metres down the road at Marku, Chaurpati rural municipality-7 of the district.
The victim has been identified as Niraj Kunwar, 17, a resident of Sanphebagar municipality-3 of the district. The District Police Office says he breathed his last while being taken to Bayalpata Hospital for treatment.
Other 17 have sustained injuries, and they are undergoing treatment at Bayalpata Hospital, informs Police Inspector Lokendra Singh Gurung.
Gurung suspects an engine failure triggered the accident.
