An influential leader of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee has rejected an invitation forwarded to him by the party president for a consultation about the formation of work execution committee.

Krishna Prasad Sitaula did not heed to Sher Bahadur Deuba’s call for the meeting, according to sources.

A leader close to Sitaula informs that he decided not to join the meeting after learning that Deuba and senior leader Ram Chadra Paudel agreed to divided the committee membership between their two factions on a 60:40 ratio and Sitaula felt ignored by this.

Meanwhile, Deuba began consulting key leaders of the party one by one in his bid to bridge differences for the formation of the committee.
