Bhaktapur, September 21
Two persons were killed after a bus (Ba 9 Kha 9454) heading to Banepa of Kavrepalanchok from Kathmandu hit a motorcycle (Ba 80 Pa 6959) heading towards the opposite direction at Suryabinayak in Bhaktapur district last night.
Motorcyclist Sudarshan Timalsina, 35, of Panauti in Kavre district and pillion rider Yelisha Adhikari, 18, of Chitwan district died in the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Metropolitan Police Circle in Jagati, Shishu Sharma, said.
Seriously injured Timalsina and Adhikari were pronounced dead by the doctors of Bhaktapur Hospital when the two were rushed to the hospital after the incident.
According to DSP Sharma, bus driver Sanam Shrestha, 33, of Banepa was held after the deadly accident and further investigations have been initiated.
