Mahottari, March 4
Two people have died in a road accident that took place at Matihani Janakpur road section of Mahottari district.
The deceased have been identified as Akbar Rayin, 60, of Pipra Rural Municipality-5 of Mahottari and Rajkishore Yadav, 60, of Kshireshwarnath Municipality-1.
DSP Dilip Kumar Giri said the two died when an SUV with the Indian registration number (BR 06 PD 3330) collided with a tractor.
According to police, Jhapsi Kawadi of Pipara Rural Municipality -5 is critical and is being treated at Provincial Hospital Janakpur.
The driver of the SUV is on the run, said Giri.
