Bharatpur, March 5
A nine-year-old boy was hit to death by a bus last night in Bharatpur. The bus (Na 4 Kha 5815) heading to Madi from Narayangadh hit Arush Poudel, killing him on the spot.
The spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Shreeram Bhandari, said that the boy was crushed by the bus at a zebra cross near Machhapuchhre Chowk.
Even a passenger in the bus, Kopila Rai, 21, was injured in the accident. Bus driver Bikash Sarki has been taken under control, the police added.
