Doha, April 9
Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Tuesday held bilateral meetings with his Bangladeshi and Pakistani counterparts in Doha of Qatar separately.
The chief of the lower house of the federal legislative is in the Gulf country in the course of 140th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. He had addressed the session on Monday.
On the sidelines of the event, Mahara met Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad of Bangladesh, Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
During both of the meetings, the Speaker and his counterparts discussed various issues of bilateral relations and the links between two legislative bodies in particular.
He also extended invitations to visit Nepal on the occasion of Visit Nepal 2020.
