Rastriya Janata Party Nepal’s General Secretary Manish Kumar Suman says the Nepali Congress party has not been committed to forming the democratic alliance among like-minded parties.
Speaking with journalists in Kathmandu today, the leader said the Congress party did not show any interest in forming a strong alliance. “Partnering with other parties is also a compulsion,” he added.
A member of the task force formed to prepare grounds for the alliance, Suman said the Congress did not present itself responsibly in the task force meetings and fielded its own candidates notwithstanding possibility for partnership.
Suman also demanded that the party express its commitment to amend the constitution as demanded by Madheshis to partner with the RJPN for the polls.
