Kathmandu, August 21
Sher Bahadur Deuba and Shekhar Koirala held a meeting on Friday amid the ongoing dispute within the Nepali Congress.
The meeting took place at Deuba’s residence in Chundevi, where he has been staying since the Gen Z movement.
Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya, personal secretary to Koirala, confirmed that the two leaders met on Friday.
According to Thapaliya, Deuba and Koirala discussed the latest dispute within the Nepali Congress and ways to resolve the differences.
“They discussed how to bring the party together and how to resolve the problems within the party,” Thapaliya told Onlinekhabar.
The meeting comes at a time when divisions within the Nepali Congress have intensified, with the party facing growing questions over its internal unity and future political direction.
