Police have arrested a woman from Makwanpur for trading in narcotics.
A team from the Metropolitan Police Circle Thankot arrested Bina Lama from Thankot with three kg of hashish packed in the form of capsules of sorts and ready for sale. Lama used to sell hashish from her apartment by by making capsules, DSP at the circle, Krishna Pangeni, informed.
According to Pangeni, the woman used to sell hashish brought from Makwanpur to drug addicts by making capsules.
A youth, who used to supply the narcotic substance to Lama, is said to be at large.
DSP Pangeni said: It appears that the supplier used to bring small amount of hashish each time. This indicates the person in question is a professional drug dealer. A search for the person of interest is underway
