Actress-turned-politician Karishma Manandhar, who sat for SEE this year, says she plans to continue her studies at a government high school.
Manandhar, who came to Tribeni Community School to congratulate her classmates, said she wants to study at a government school to dispel the myth that only children of poor people study in government schools.
“Teachers from Golden Gate College came to my house to offer me a place, but I declined,” she said adding that she plans to study management. Forty-five-year-old Manandhar scored a B+ grade (GPA 3) in this year’s SEE.
