Kathmandu, December 2
Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Hridayesh Tripathi has said he will correct some errors made during the adjustment of civil servants into the newly adopted federal structure.
“There were some errors in the staff adjustment. We have to correct them. We will,” Tripathi said during a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee in the House of Representatives on Monday.
The minister’s statement comes after staff of health service and accounting officers at the local level expressed their dissatisfaction over the process.
Minister Tripathi was summoned to the meeting to discuss a bill on formation, operation and service conditions of the federal civil service. The new minister said he would accept all agreements made by the committee about the bill.
