100 voting centres to be disabled-friendly

Kathmandu, November 3

One hundred voting centres will be disabled-friendly during the federal and provincial elections due to be held on November 20.

The Election Commission says it has asked officials who will be deployed at the voting centres to go through the list of sign language they will need to understand on election day.

Braille materials regarding the method of voting, colourful rope and pole and table and chair for the disabled people in these voting centres have also been arranged.
