Solukhumbu, November 3
One person has died and another has been injured after two helicopters collided at Pheriche helipad in Solukhumbu district.
Police Inspector Mausam Tamang of the District Police Office, Solukhumbu, confirmed that a foreign national was killed in the accident and one other person was injured.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), helicopters belonging to Fishtail Air and Dynasty Air collided while landing at the helipad.
CAAN information officer Gyanendra Bhul said the authority had received information that the rotors of the two helicopters struck each other during landing. He said further details were being sought.
