Tribhuvan University not to recognise degrees from these 4 Indian universities

Kathmandu, September 2

Tribhuvan University, the oldest and biggest university in Nepal, says it has temporarily stopped recognising degrees from four Indian universities.

The university’s Curriculum Development Centre Director Paras Nath Yadav, in a recent notice, says the university will not provide equivalence to degrees obtained from the following universities:

  1. Singhania University, Rajasthan
  2. Mewar University, Rajasthan
  3. Sai Nath University, Jharkhand
  4. Lovely Professional University, Punjab

The notice does not mention how long the suspension will last.
