Kathmandu, August 27
A man has died in a road accident in Sanutar along the Hetaunda-Bhainse section of the Tribhuvan Highway in Makawanpur, just some kilometres south of Kathmandu, on Friday morning.
The victim who appears to be in his early 30s is yet to be identified.
The Bhainse Police Post says the victim was riding on a truck (Province 1-002 Kha 8759) when the vehicle fell off the road. The vehicle was carrying electricity wires from Itahari of Sunsari and was heading towards Naubise of Dhading.
ASI Surendra Sah says the driver and assistant of the truck have sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at the Hetaunda Hospital.
